CheeRing CUP Regulations

​

● Eligibility

Open to all ages and genders.
Teams of 2 or more members.

​

● Entry Fee

¥2,500 (tax included) per person

​

● Entry Period

November 15, 2024 (Sat) – December 5, 2024 (Mon)
Video submission deadline: February 20, 2026 (Tue)

● Music Guidelines

All performances will be published on YouTube, so copyright-free music must be used.
Any violation of this rule will result in disqualification from judging.

Teams must submit their chosen music in advance for verification of copyright-free status.
Please feel free to contact us with any questions regarding music usage.

● Performance Duration

No time limit. Follow the length of your selected music.

​

● Performance Content

Performances related to cheerleading.
(Examples: Cheerleading, Cheerdance, Pom, Songleading, Flag, Baton)
Entries may feature either fun, entertainment-style routines or competitive performances.

● Costumes

Official uniforms are not required.
Please ensure attire is safe and appropriate for performance and filming.

● Filming Guidelines

• The camera must be fixed in front of the team so the full performance is clearly visible.
  Zoom functions are not allowed.

• Record horizontally using a smartphone or equivalent video camera.
  Indoor or outdoor locations are acceptable.

• Ensure that the performance music and voices are clearly audible.
  If audio quality is insufficient, resubmission may be requested.

• Editing or processing the video after recording is strictly prohibited.

📣 Participation Agreement

By applying, participants agree to the following terms:

• Submitted videos will be published on the CheeRing YouTube Channel.
  Please obtain consent from all participants before submitting.

• If minors are participating, parental consent is required.

• Participants grant permission for their videos and photos to be used by the organizers in approved media.
  (The organizer bears no responsibility for any unauthorized publication by third parties.)

• Once entry is confirmed, entry fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.

• If the actual number of participants exceeds the number entered, the fee difference must be paid.

• Depending on the number of entries, the event may be canceled.
  In that case, all entry fees will be refunded in full.

📣 Judging Criteria and Results

Performances will be judged on the following three criteria:
Cheer Spirit, Synchronization, and Technical Skill

Judging will be conducted by a panel of professionals, including:
Cheer dance instructors, professional sports team cheerleaders, and experienced cheerleading/cheerdance competitors.

• Results will be announced on YouTube.

• Winning teams will receive a certificate of achievement by mail after judging.

📣 Entry Process

1. Submit the entry form
   – The organizer will contact you via email within 2–3 days.

2. Pay the entry fee within one week of application.
   – Entry is confirmed upon payment.

3. Submit your music and team introduction video by January 17 (Sat)

4. Submit your performance video by February 27 (Fri)
   – Videos and music files will be shared via Google Drive.
   Detailed submission instructions will be provided by email.
